Hello and Welcome

Hello and Welcome to my dusty desk, here in the Chaos Inc archives. I've thought long and hard on what this blog should be, and in the end, it is my passion for History that has inspired me. So I want to bring my opinion to the history that we some times take for granted.

In my first post, I wanted to talk about the most famous of the Tudor family. I'm sure many of you, lean toward Elizabeth I as that being, but I mean to talk about her father, the Infamous Henry VIII. Six wives aside, the man was fascinating and in a very human way, easier to understand than most realize. There is a depth to Henry that makes him almost a tragic figure, despite the fact that he was, despite the scandalous nature of his romantic life, a good king for the country of England.

To understand Henry as an adult, and the choices he made, we must go back to his childhood. We must trace the timeline, from that most fateful moment of his brother Arthur's death, to those last moments. So much of Henry's life, defined the fierce and even some times volatile man that was Henry Tudor the VIII. I will be bringing you a two part essay on his life and the moments that shaped a man who changed the face of English Religion and life in a way that changed a country who hadn't been changed for centuries.
